Location: White City, West London
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 per annum

Reports to: Head of BI & Application
Your Role as BI Architect:
You will design and deliver scalable BI results using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and Power BI, partnering with teams across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and eCommerce to turn business needs into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Engagement & Analysis
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical and reporting solutions.
- Build strong knowledge of Colart’s brands and commercial drivers to ensure insights align with business priorities.
- Document and prioritise BI requirements to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Data & Platform (Microsoft Fabric)
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, datasets and semantic models within Microsoft Fabric.
- Use OneLake to ensure consistent, governed and accessible data across the organisation.
- Contribute to the migration from legacy BI tools to a modern Fabric‑based architecture.
- Maintain data quality and governance standards throughout all BI assets.
Reporting & Visualisation (Power BI)
- Build user‑friendly, visually engaging Power BI dashboards tailored to different audiences.
- Optimise reports for performance, scalability and intuitive use.
- Enable and support self‑service BI capabilities across the business.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with BI Analysts, Data Engineers, Integration teams (M3, Shopify, PIM/DAM) and Technical Operations.
- Support agile project delivery and contribute to the BI roadmap.
- Drive continuous improvement of BI processes, tools and data models.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, modelling, optimisation).
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (preferred) or Azure data tools.
- Solid understanding of data lake architectures and SQL.
- Knowledge of data modelling principles.
- Commercial awareness with ability to link data to business outcomes.
- Experience working with global, cross‑functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Previous experience of a manufacturing, supply chain or eCommerce environment would be advantageous.
