We’re pleased to welcome Simran Popat to the business as our new Group Legal Counsel, based in London.

Simran joins us from American Express Middle East, where she supported complex, multi‑jurisdiction legal matters across product, technology, data, and compliance, and advised senior leaders on commercial contracts, digital initiatives, and emerging technology, including AI governance.

She is a qualified solicitor, trained at DLA Piper, with experience spanning regulatory investigations, disputes, employment, and corporate work, including time on secondment to a global hospitality business.

Simran brings a highly pragmatic, business‑focused legal approach and will be working closely with teams across the Group.
